The invention discloses a surface glaze material of tableware porcelain and a preparation method of the surface glaze material, and belongs to the technical field of ceramic manufacturing. The glaze comprises the following raw materials: 15 to 25 parts of feldspar, 20 to 30 parts of quartz, 5 to 10 parts of calcite, 10 to 15 parts of kaolin, 3 to 5 parts of talc, 5 to 6 parts of dolomite, 4 to 5 parts of strontium carbonate, 4 to 5 parts of barium carbonate, 0.8 to 1 part of lithium carbonate, 2 to 3 parts of zirconium silicate, 0.2 to 0.4 part of a graphene oxide/titanium carbide composite material and 0.6 to 1 part of a dispersant. According to the invention, different components are sintered after being subjected to treatment reaction, so that drawing and bridging among different raw materials in the sintering process are facilitated, and better improvement of performance is facilitated. The prepared glaze has good hardness and low water absorption rate after being sintered, and the formed high-hardness ceramic coating has wear resistance.
