The invention provides a phenyl carboxyl block modified polycarboxylic acid water reducer and a preparation method thereof. Polycarboxylic acid water reducer mother liquor is prepared from the following materials: 360 to 373 parts of a polyether macromonomer, 10 to 18 parts of acrylic acid, 5 to 12 parts of a carboxylic acid monomer, 3 to 8 parts of a benzene ring monomer, 2.0 to 2.8 parts of an initiator, 1.3 to 1.6 parts of a chain transfer agent and the balance being water, the total mass of the materials is 1000 parts, and the solid content is 40%. The polymerization process comprises thesteps: step 1, initiating copolymerization of the benzene ring monomer and the carboxyl monomer at the temperature of 40-60 DEG C to obtain a block polymer; and step 2, dropwise adding a mixed solution of the block polymer, acrylic acid and the chain transfer agent and an initiator solution into a polyether macromonomer solution, dropwise adding for 2-3 h at the temperature of 35-45 DEG C, and cooling to obtain the phenyl carboxyl block modified polycarboxylic acid water reducer and the mother liquor of the preparation method. According to the polycarboxylic acid water reducer prepared by theinvention, a phenyl carboxyl block polymer is grafted and copolymerized onto a main chain of the water reducer; phenyl on the block has strong hydrophobicity, free water of a solvent layer is easy toextrude, the surplus fluidity of the water reducer is increased, carboxylic acid groups can be complexed with calcium ions to increase the anchoring capacity of the water reducer on the surfaces of cement particles, the reduction of the acid-ether ratio can still have a strong adsorption dispersion effect, and the slump loss resistance is better.
本发明提供一种苯基羧基嵌段改性聚羧酸减水剂及其制备方法,所述聚羧酸减水剂母液由以下材料制备而成:聚醚大单体360‑373份、丙烯酸10‑18份、羧酸类单体5‑12份、苯环类单体3‑8份、引发剂2.0‑2.8份、链转移剂1.3‑1.6份、其余为水,总质量为1000份,固含量为40%。聚合过程步骤一:以苯环类单体、羧基类单体在40‑60℃条件下引发共聚得嵌段聚合物;步骤二:向聚醚大单体溶液中滴加嵌段聚合物、丙烯酸、链转移剂的混合液和引发剂溶液,在35‑45℃温度下滴加时间为2‑3h,冷却处理后即得苯基羧基嵌段改性聚羧酸减水剂及其制备方法母液。本发明制备的聚羧酸减水剂以苯基羧基嵌段聚合物接枝共聚到减水剂主链上,嵌段上的苯基具有强疏水性,易挤出溶剂层的自由水,增加减水剂富余流动度,羧酸类基团能与钙离子络合增加减水剂在水泥颗粒表面的锚固能力,酸醚比降低依然可以有较强的吸附分散效果,保坍能力更佳。
