Expanded ceramsite and manufacturing method thereof
The invention discloses a manufacturing method of expanded ceramsite. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps: S1, stirring spoil and dry excrement powder in a stirrer for 10-12 minutesto obtain a mixture; S2, feeding the mixture into a pelletizer for pelletizing, and then feeding the pellets into a baking machine for baking to obtain semi-dry ceramsite; S3, feeding the semi-dry ceramsite obtained in the S2 to a rotary kiln to be roasted into finished ceramsite, wherein the temperature of the rotary kiln ranges from 1255 DEG C to 1265 DEG C; and S4, cooling the finished ceramsite through a cooling machine, and conveying the cooled ceramsite into a storage yard for stacking. The invention further discloses the expanded ceramsite. The expanded ceramsite and the manufacturingmethod have the beneficial effects that through combination of the excrement and the spoil, the amount of clay used for manufacturing the expanded ceramsite is reduced, and the raw material cost is saved.
