The invention discloses a sidewalk guardrail facilitating traffic dispersion and diversion. The guardrail comprises two guardrail supporting columns arranged on the two sides of one end of a zebra crossing on road ground side by side, a plurality of guardrail stand columns arranged between the two guardrail supporting columns, a plurality of guardrail railings arranged between the two guardrail supporting columns, a driving box arranged on the two guardrail supporting columns and a controller arranged on the guardrail supporting columns. Pedestrians and non-motor vehicles on zebra crossings oftraffic light intersections of roads can be guided to pass through, so the pedestrians and non-motor vehicles are prevented from running through the sidewalk guardrail, meanwhile, the pedestrians canbe prevented from climbing over the sidewalk guardrail and causing road traffic hidden dangers, the non-motor vehicles and the pedestrians can be prevented from running the red light at will and causing traffic accidents, road congestion is increased, normal driving of the motor vehicles on the road cannot be affected, and application and popularization are facilitated.
