The invention provides a transverse control system for a venetian blind and a hollow blind window. Different transmission mechanisms are arranged in one same part in parallel, and the lifting and overturning of the venetian blind can be controlled through an inner controller which moves transversely and horizontally at the top of the hollow shutter glass window and transverse movement of a handle.Due to the fact that the control handle can be arranged in a frame of the top of a window body, when the venetian blind is transversely controlled to be lifted and turned over, the height limitationon the blind window can be improved.
