The invention relates to a wood floor grabbing device and an installation robot, and belongs to the technical field of wood floor laying. The wood floor grabbing device comprises a base body, a grabbing piece, a rotating driving mechanism and a first elastic piece, wherein the base body is used for being installed on an installation plate of the wood floor installation robot; one end of the grabbing piece is rotationally connected with the base body and can rotate between a first angle position and a second angle position relative to the base body, and the other end of the grabbing piece is used for extending into a notch of a wood floor; the rotating driving mechanism is used for driving the grabbing piece to rotate towards the first angle position; and the first elastic piece is used fordriving the grabbing piece to rotate towards the second angle position. The invention further provides the wood floor installation robot. The wood floor installation robot comprises a robot body andan installation frame, wherein the installation frame is rotationally installed on the robot body, and the installation frame is provided with the wood floor grabbing device. The wood floor installation robot can lift the side edge of the wood floor on a single side, the structure is simple, grabbing is convenient and fast, and laying of the wood floor is facilitated.
