The invention relates to gypsum powder for 3D printing, which is prepared from the following components in parts by mass: 70 to 90 percent of base material alpha-hemihydrate gypsum, 10 to 25 percent of binding agent, 0.5 to 5 percent of coagulant, 0.5 to 2 percent of dispersing agent and 5 to 10 percent of other auxiliary agents. The granularity of the base material alpha-hemihydrate gypsum powderis 100 to 500 meshes. The gypsum powder effectively overcomes the defects of low strength, slow curing, boundary diffusion of printed products, high water absorption, poor water resistance and the like of the printed products in the prior art, and has the advantages of high molding hardening speed, proper permeation, high molding precision, high strength, no toxicity, environment friendliness andthe like; gypsum powder is uniform, fine and free of agglomeration; the powder supply system is good in powder flowability, not prone to blockage, capable of being laid into a thin layer, even and smooth in powder laying, free of wrinkles, free of powder flying and capable of not blocking a printing head, the effect is ideal, the raw materials are low in price and easy to obtain, the production process is simple, and the production cost is effectively reduced.
