The invention provides a roughening agent for concrete, which comprises a retarder, an inorganic filler, a film-forming agent, a film-forming aid and water; in the roughening agent, the following components are included in parts by weight: 15-40 parts of retarder, 20-40 parts of the inorganic filler, 1-8 parts of film-forming agent, 0.1 to 1 part of the film-forming aid by weight, and the contentof the water is 15-60 parts by weight. Through cooperative use of the retarder, the inorganic filler, the film-forming agent, the film-forming aid and the water, the roughening agent provided by the invention has good adsorbability and effectiveness, only acts on the surface layer of concrete, meets the requirements of actual construction procedure connection in effective time, and also has the characteristics of easiness in uniform coating, no need of secondary treatment, pH value of 7-8, environmental protection, safety and the like.
