The invention discloses a preparation method of a basalt composite fiber water permeable brick. The method comprises the following steps of: uniformly mixing basalt ore, sepiolite powder and talcum powder, heating an obtained mixture until obtaining a melt, and performing centrifugal spinning to obtain cotton fibers; mixing the cotton fibers, konjac glucomannan and a sodium hydroxide solution, stirring an obtained mixture at 60-70 DEG C for 30-50 minutes, performing filtering and washing, and performing drying at 90-98 DEG C for 1-2 hours to obtain basalt composite fibers; uniformly mixing pre-ground cement clinker, the basalt composite fibers, coal mine waste residues, fly ash, desulfurized gypsum and an additive, and grinding an obtained mixture to obtain a cementing material; uniformlymixing aggregate, the cementing material, water, a water reducing agent and a surfactant, performing molding by using a grinding tool under the molding pressure of 18-20MPa, performing curing at the temperature of 20-25 DEG C for 28-30 days, and keeping the humidity at 80-88% in the curing process, thereby obtaining the basalt composite fiber water permeable brick.
