Pedestrian crossing safety facility
The invention relates to a pedestrian crosswalk safety facility, and relates to the technical field of traffic facilities. The facility comprises support components symmetrically arranged on two sidesof a pedestrian crosswalk, and a passage for pedestrians to pass through is formed between the two support components on the same side of the pedestrian crosswalk; and a handrail used for blocking achannel inlet is arranged on each supporting component in a rotating mode, a motor used for driving the handrail to rotate in a vertical direction is arranged in each supporting component, and an output shaft of the motor is fixedly connected with the side surface of the handrail. Vehicle blocking assemblies are included and are symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the passage. A bottom of each vehicle blocking assembly is preset on the pedestrian crosswalk, and the vehicle blocking assembly stretches across the pedestrian crosswalk in the length direction of the passage. Each supportingcomponent is further provided with a lifting assembly used for lifting the vehicle blocking assembly. The facility has an effect of improving safety when pedestrians pass through the pedestrian crosswalk.
