The invention discloses a purple sand ware decoration process which comprises the following steps: selecting materials, and preparing a purple sand mud blank; engraving the purple sand mud blank witha bamboo knife, covering the blank with a plastic film, and drawing a decorative pattern with purple sand powder; putting the purple sand mud blank into a pot sleeve making cylinder, enabling the purple sand powder to be completely attached to the purple sand mud blank, and flattening the purple sand powder by using a pot making tool; sintering at high temperature and cooling to form a product. Onthe basis of not influencing the functions and the hand feeling of the purple sand device, colorful decoration is added to the purple sand device, and the monotonous state that traditional purple sand has thousands of noodles and one color is changed.
