The invention relates to a composite aluminum silicon carbide brick and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the field of refractory materials. The composite aluminum silicon carbide brick isprepared from, by weight, 5-10 parts of brown fused alumina containing 95-98% of Al2O3 and 0.3% or less of Fe2O3, 60-80 parts of a homogenized material containing 88-98% of Al2O3 and 2% or less of Fe2O3, 5-10 parts of alumina powder containing 98-99% of Al2O3 and 0.2% or less of Fe2O3, 10-20 parts of silicon carbide powder containing 95-98% of SiC and 0.8% or less of Fe2O3, and 8-15 parts of whitemud containing 34-40% of Al2O3 and 1.5% or less of Fe2O3. The load softening temperature of a traditional silicon brick can be effectively improved by the composite aluminum-silicon carbide brick.
