The invention discloses a communication base station based on a lifting type single-pipe tower, and relates to the technical field of communication base stations. The communication base station comprises a communication single-pipe tower body, a lifting driving device, a lifting platform, a rain shielding mechanism and a fixed clamping part; a winding roller is arranged at the output end of the motor; one end of a combining rope is arranged on the winding roller; the other end of the combined rope is connected with a plurality of branch ropes; the merging rope penetrates through a cavity; oneend of each branch rope is connected with the top end of a first straight rod on the lifting platform; a roller on a first arc-shaped notch rolls in the first groove; and the lifting platform moves upand down along the single-pipe tower so that a worker can conveniently, safely and easily climb to the working platform of the single-pipe tower communication base station by taking an inspection andmaintenance tool to operate for the communication base station equipment. An inserting block on a first flashing board is inserted into an inserting groove in a second flashing board, so that a worker does not get wet by rainwater when climbing the working platform of the single-pipe tower communication base station in rainy days.
