The invention relates to a building foundation structure and a construction process thereof. The building foundation structure comprises four right-angle pieces and four connecting rods, and the fourconnecting rods and the four right-angle pieces form a rectangular framework; a first connecting piece is arranged between each right-angle piece and the corresponding connecting rod; the two connecting rods located on two sides in the width direction of the framework are arranged as first connecting rods, and the two connecting rods located on two sides in the length direction of the framework are arranged as second connecting rods; a plurality of connecting plates are arranged between the two first connecting rods, and a plurality of reinforcing steel bars are arranged between the two secondconnecting rods; the two ends of each connecting plate are each provided with a second connecting piece, and the connecting plates are detachably connected with the two first connecting rods throughthe second connecting pieces; and the top surface of each second connecting rod is provided with a plurality of lower positioning grooves, the two ends of each reinforcing steel bar are located in thetwo corresponding lower positioning grooves, and a pressing block is arranged in each lower positioning groove in the corresponding second connecting rod. The installation process of the reinforcingsteel bars is easy and convenient, the influence on the installation position of the second connecting rods is small, and later concrete pouring work is facilitated.
