The invention relates to a large-size quartz ceramic part and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing quartz powder, polysiloxane and a silicon-containing solvent to prepare ceramic slurry with a high solid content; injecting the ceramic slurry into a forming mold, curing to obtain a biscuit; and carrying out a heat treatment on the biscuit in anoxidizing atmosphere or oxygen, and sintering. Through raw material design, the obtained ceramic slurry is high in silicon dioxide content; the curing shrinkage is low, particularly, when polysiloxaneis subjected to a heat treatment in an oxidizing atmosphere; carbon atoms are oxidized into carbon dioxide and removed; Si atoms are converted into silicon dioxide, after the heat treatment, the density of silicon dioxide is very high even if silicon dioxide is not shrunk; the ceramic part can be used in most application environments, the density and strength of an obtained green body of the ceramic slurry are effectively improved through the preparation technology by means of the design of the preparation technology, the firing temperature and shrinkage rate are reduced, the strength of theobtained biscuit is larger than 50 MPa, the firing shrinkage is smaller than or equal to 1%, and the ceramic strength is larger than or equal to 50 MPa.
