The invention discloses a device for preventing non-motor vehicles from running a red light at a traffic light intersection. The device comprises a ground located between a rightmost motor vehicle lane and a right-turn non-motor vehicle lane. A right fixed shell is fixedly connected with the position, close to the right side, of the upper end face of the ground; a movable blocking device is arranged in the right fixed shell; the movable blocking device comprises a first containing groove with a leftward opening and a movable shell with a rightward opening; a movable shell is connected into themovable shell in a sliding manner; a top plate groove with a leftward opening is formed in the movable shell; a first top pressing plate is slidably connected into the top plate groove. The device isarranged between the straight lane on the rightmost side and the right-turn non-motor vehicle lane, a transverse strip can be automatically pulled out when the red light is emitted, people are warnednot to cross the line, and non-motor vehicles are prevented from running the red light; the consciousness that people comply with safe traffic rules is enhanced, and meanwhile the traffic accident probability is reduced.
