The invention discloses a steel box girder mounting construction method. The method comprises the following steps: 1, erecting a temporary support; 2, manufacturing beam sections in a factory, and then transporting the beam sections to a site for hoisting; 3, connecting the beam sections, and before construction, erecting a welding protective shed in an outdoor welding area; 4, performing nondestructive testing; and 5, dismounting the support in a structure unloading mode: 1) cutting fulcrum channel steel, 2) dragging the support out of the bridge position, 3) putting down the support, and 4)breaking down the support. The construction site welding protective shed is used for creating a welding environment for a welding area.
