According to the technical scheme, the regional suspended seepage controlling wall structure with variable permeability coefficient is characterized in that the seepage controlling wall is arranged in a deep pervious foundation, and consists of a hydraulic gradient retarding segment, an overlapping segment and a seepage controlling segment from bottom to top in sequence; and the permeability coefficient of the hydraulic gradient retarding segment is controlled to be about one tenth of the natural permeability coefficient of the foundation.
