Waterproof high-strength basalt fiber asphalt mixture and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to the technical field of asphalt modified materials, and discloses a waterproof high-strength basalt fiber asphalt mixture and a preparation method thereof. The waterproof high-strength basalt fiber asphalt mixture is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 4 to 5 parts of SBS modified asphalt, 0.3 to 0.5 part of modified basalt fiber, 90 to 93 parts of aggregate and 1 to 3 parts of mineral powder. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: baking and heating SBS modified asphalt until the SBS modified asphalt is molten; respectively heating and drying the aggregate and the mineral powder to constant weight; and mixing the aggregate and the modified basalt fiber, adding the molten SBS modified asphalt, continuing to mix, and adding the mineral powder to mix, thereby obtaining the product. In the mixture prepared by the invention, the SBS modified asphalt and the aggregate as well as the SBS modified asphalt and the basalt fiber have relatively strong bonding performance; the phenomenon that rainwater erodes the mixture to cause stripping between the aggregate and basalt fiber and the SBS modified asphalt is avoided, the waterproof performance of the asphalt mixture is improved, and the service life of the asphalt mixture is prolonged.
