The invention discloses a corner sweeping and tamping device for a road construction water stable layer. A machine body is included. A circular groove with a rightward opening is formed in a right endsurface of the machine body, two arc-shaped sliding blocks are arranged in the circular groove in a sliding connection mode, the right ends of the arc-shaped sliding blocks are fixedly connected witha connecting short rod, the right end of the connecting short rod is rotatably connected with a synchronous plate, and the right end of the front right end of the synchronous plate is fixedly connected with the connecting long rod. A tamper and the sweeper are combined into a whole, and compared with a traditional machine, the device is small in size and richer in function. The two arc-shaped sliding blocks slide along the circular groove and rotate around the circular groove in a circular mode. A tamping box body and a cleaning box can be always parallel to the ground, and ground tamping andcleaning can be performed conveniently; and when a push-pull rod is not pulled up, the machine cannot move forwards, idling of the machine in situ is prevented, after the push-pull rod is pulled up,a clamping rod prevents a ratchet wheel from rotating, a rear screw cannot move downwards, the push-pull rod can be kept at a proper position to push the machine body to move forwards, and an operation direction of the machine can be adjusted conveniently.
