The invention discloses a connecting material and system for connecting silicon carbide materials, a connecting structure and application. The connecting material comprises any one or a combination ofmore than two of Yb, Yb3Si2C2 and a Yb3Si2C2 coated silicon carbide composite materials. The invention also discloses the application of the Yb, Yb3Si2C2 or Yb3Si2C2 coated silicon carbide compositematerials in connection with a silicon carbide material. The invention further discloses a connection method of the silicon carbide material, a corresponding system adopted by the connection method and the finally obtained connection structure. According to the method, the characteristic of high-temperature decomposition of Yb3Si2C2 is utilized, and a generated liquid phase is beneficial to integrated sintering of silicon carbide of a connecting interface and silicon carbide of a matrix; the obtained silicon carbide connecting structure is high in bending strength and excellent in high-temperature resistance, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, and can be applied to extreme service environments such as aerospace and nuclear energy systems.
