The beta-phosphogypsum-based self-leveling mortar comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 55-62 parts of beta-hemihydrate phosphogypsum powder, 1-3 parts of silicate white cement, 35-40 parts of quartz sand, 0.15-0.25 part of an organosilicon waterproofing agent, 0.3-0.8 parts of latex powder, 0.2-0.4 part of a water reducing agent, 0.15-0.3 part of a defoamer, 0.1-0.25 parts of a plant proteinretarder, and 0.1-0.3 parts of cellulose with viscosity being larger than 200,000 units. The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1, preparing the raw materials in parts by weight; 2, mixing beta-hemihydrate phosphogypsum powder, silicate white cement and quartz sand to obtain a mixture, and then finely grinding the mixture to enable the specific surface area of the mixture to be greater than or equal to 650m2/kg; and 3, uniformly mixing the finely ground mixture with other raw materials to obtain the beta phosphogypsum-based self-leveling mortar. The beta phosphogypsum-based self-leveling mortar has the advantages of being high in strength, good in fluidity, good in constructability, good in water resistance, free of foaming and layering, environmentally friendly, capable of saving energy and the like.
