The groove forming device comprises a drill rod, a drill bit, a power box and a chain saw type cutting box, wherein the power box is fixedly arranged onthe drill rod, the drill bit is arranged at the bottom end of the drill rod, the chain saw type cutting box is fixedly connected with the power box and is perpendicular to the drill rod, and the power box is used for providing power for the drill rod and the chain saw type cutting box. By the adoption of the technical scheme, deep and narrow grooves can be quickly dug.
