One or more embodiments of the invention provide a passive lock, a key, a cloud server, a passive lock system, and an unlocking method thereof. The passive lock comprises a lock body provided with through keyholes, a first main control PCB arranged inside the lock body, locking rods respectively inserted into the keyholes, locking parts fixedly arranged inside the lock body and in electric connection with the first main control PCB, and an input module arranged on the lock body and in electric connection with the first main control PCB and the locking parts. The locking parts abut against thelocking rods inserted into the keyholes to lock the locking rods. According to the embodiments, the input module is arranged outside the lock body, and an energy storage battery is arranged inside thekey. Firstly, the key supplies power to the locking parts, the first main control PCB, and other electrical components in the passive lock through the input module, and the input module inputs unlocking information into the first main control PCB of the passive lock to realize unlocking and meet the use requirements of outdoor scenes.
