The invention discloses a rail elastic fastener loosening and breakage detection device which comprises a supporting plate. A detection mechanism is arranged on the lower end surface of the supportingplate, the detection mechanism comprises a sleeper detection box, the sleeper detection box is fixedly connected with the supporting plate, and a sleeper detection cavity with a downward opening is formed in the lower side of the sleeper detection box. A sleeper detection rod is arranged in the sleeper detection cavity in a sliding manner, and a sleeper detection sensor is fixedly arranged on theinner wall of the upper side of the sleeper detection cavity. In the invention, detection of breakage, missing and loosening of the elastic fasteners on the rail can be automatically completed, a sleeper position is firstly detected through pressure sensors, after the pressure sensors reach the sleeper position, the pressure sensors on the two sides are started to detect the elastic fasteners, and if elastic fastener pressure sensors on the two sides do not act in the working period of the sleeper pressure sensors, the elastic fasteners at the position are lost.
