The invention belongs to the technical field of guardrails, and particularly relates to highway guardrail equipment capable of buffering for municipal engineering. The equipment comprises a first guardrail mechanism, a second guardrail mechanism and a protective plate. When the protective plate is impacted by a vehicle, the protective plate is moved by an impact force, pulls a buffering belt and winds a belt pulley to release the buffering belt; the belt pulley is wound to rotate a first rotating shaft; and a speed regulating mechanism enables the winding belt pulley to release the buffering belt at a relatively slow speed. The larger the impact force of the vehicle impacting the protective plate is, the farther the distance the protective plate impacted to move is, the more the bufferingbelt released by the winding belt pulley is, and the more the consumed impact energy is so that a vehicle impact buffering function is achieved, and an effect of protecting the vehicle, a driver and passengers can be achieved. Besides, a first guide block spring is compressed to absorb the remaining impact energy so that the effect of protecting the structure can be achieved, the larger impact force of the vehicle can be better buffered, and drivers and passengers are better protected.
