The invention discloses a lifter with a lifting platform capable of horizontally extending. The lifter comprises two stand columns, driving devices and the lifting platform, wherein the two stand columns are erected on the ground in parallel, the lifting platform is located between the two stand columns, guide rails and the driving devices are arranged on the stand columns, the driving devices comprise motors, transmission parts and control systems, and the lifting platform is driven by the driving devices to move up and down along the guide rails on the stand columns; and the lifting platformis composed of a fixed base and a movable platform, the movable platform is arranged above the fixed base, the movable platform is movably connected with the fixed base through a connecting shaft, and the movable platform can freely rotate with the connecting shaft as the center. According to the lifter with the lifting platform capable of horizontally extending, the lifting platform is providedwith the movable platform, one end of the movable platform can rotate outwards, the horizontal length of the whole lifting platform can be increased, the construction range of workers is enlarged, thetime for adjusting the position of the whole lifter is saved, and the construction efficiency is improved.
