The invention discloses a buffer strip device for automatic lifting of an expressway. The buffer strip device comprises a foundation base, wherein a speed reducing plate is arranged in the foundationbase, a lifting sliding cavity is fixedly formed in the lower end in the speed reducing plate, lifting sliding blocks which are symmetric left and right are slidably arranged in the lifting sliding cavity, and sand is fixedly arranged at the upper end in the speed reducing plate. According to the buffer strip device, a gravity detection plate is arranged at the front end of the expressway deceleration strip, the gravity of an automobile with a brake failure is detected through the gravity detection plate to change the depth of the sand on the deceleration strip, it is prevented that due to thetoo large sand depth, a small automobile sinks too much and gets damaged, and it is also prevented that due to the too small sand amount, a large automobile cannot achieve a deceleration effect; andmeanwhile, after the automobile stops, the automobile can ascend to get separated from the sand, the automobile is prevented from sinking into the sand any more, maintenance and leaving are facilitated, and a high integration degree is achieved.
