The invention relates to a deepwater cofferdam adjustable bottom bulkhead and a construction method thereof. The deepwater cofferdam adjustable bottom bulkhead comprises a double-wall-plate bottom bulkhead used for being fixed to a cofferdam, a sliding groove fixed to one side of the double-wall-plate bottom bulkhead and a single-wall-plate bottom bulkhead assembled in the sliding groove and capable of moving up and down along the sliding groove; the single-wall-plate bottom bulkhead and the double-wall-plate bottom bulkhead are arranged side by side; and when the double-wall-plate bottom bulkhead and the cofferdam descend to the designed bottom elevation of the cofferdam together, the single-wall-plate bottom bulkhead can move downwards to the position below the bottom face of a sealing bottom along the sliding groove. According to the deepwater cofferdam adjustable bottom bulkhead and the construction method of the deepwater cofferdam adjustable bottom bulkhead, soil pressure resistance can be achieved, the pot-bottom-shaped sealing bottom with the bottom surface arranged below the bottom of the cofferdam is subjected to bottom sealing, and the thickness of the sealing bottom canbe increased.
