The lifter (8) comprises a lifting device (11), more than onevehicle carrying plate (1), a lifter tray frame (2), more than one vehicle carrying plate limiting device (3) and more than one vehicle carrying plate baffle (4); the lifting device (11) is installedon the top of the garage, and the vehicle carrying plates (1) are placed on the lifter tray frame (2); more than one vehicle carrying plate limiting device (3) are arranged on each of the two sides of the vehicle carrying plate (1); and the vehicle carrying plate baffles (4) are installed on the sides, close to the vehicle carrying plate (1), of the vehicle carrying plate limiting devices (3). According to the transverse mechanical stereo garage, the space of the garage is more compact, the vehicle storing and taking speed reaches the highest speed, more parking spaces are stored with the smallest space, and the technical problem of the garage can be well solved.
