The invention relates to a pile foundation structure and a construction method thereof. The pile foundation structure comprises a steel casing and a pile body, a reinforcement cage is arranged in thepile body, and a fixing cylinder is arranged at the bottom of the reinforcement cage; a plurality of movable holes are formed in the side wall of the fixing cylinder; a positioning device is arrangedin the fixing cylinder; the positioning device comprises a fixed column arranged in the reinforcement cage and a plurality of fixing rods which are arranged on the fixed column and horizontally arranged; the multiple fixing rods are arranged in the circumferential direction of the fixed column at intervals; a positioning ring sheet is arranged on the inner side wall of the fixing cylinder; a plurality of sliding grooves are formed in the upper end face of the positioning ring sheet; a plurality of inserting rods are arranged on the positioning ring sheet in a sliding mode; the multiple inserting rods are arranged in the circumferential direction of the positioning ring sheet; sliding blocks are arranged on the lower end faces of the inserting rods and arranged in the sliding grooves in a sliding mode; one end of each inserting rod is inserted into the corresponding movable hole; connecting rods are hinged to the ends, close to the fixing rods, of the inserting rods; and the ends, awayfrom the inserting rods, of the connecting rods are hinged to the lower end faces of the fixing rods. The pile foundation structure has the effect of improving the mounting stability of the reinforcement cage.
