Traffic regulations stipulate that left-turn vehicles at crossroads should allow vehicles going straight in the opposite direction to go first, and in order to prevent the vehicles going straight in the peak period from continuously running to cause the left-turn vehicles to wait without stopping and further block the passage of the whole road, traffic lights are adopted at many crossroads to carry out staggered release on straight lanes and left-turn lanes, therefore, only part of lanes of one road are allowed to release at green light at any time, and the bottleneck of road traffic flow is formed at the intersection. According to the intersection traffic guidance system disclosed by the invention, vehicles turning left at the intersection are guided to a red light waiting road section specially arranged on a transverse road through right turning and turning around in sequence, and the vehicles turning left are converted into straight vehicles on the transverse road, so that all lanesof the green light release road can be continuously released, and the traffic flow bottleneck of the road at the intersection is eliminated; meanwhile, the green light duration ratio of straight traffic flow is increased, the traffic capacity of the intersection is greatly improved, and the confusion of urban operation and economic development caused by urban road peak congestion is relieved.
交通法规规定:十字路口左转车辆应让对向直行车辆先行,为了避免高峰时段直行车辆连续不断而导致左转车辆无休止等待,进而阻塞整条道路的通行,许多路口采用交通信号灯对直行车道和左转车道实行错时放行,使得任何时刻都只有一条道路的部分车道在绿灯放行,路口形成道路车流的瓶颈。本发明公开的路口交通指挥系统,把在路口左转的车辆依次经过右转、掉头引导到专设在横向道路上的红灯等候路段、将左转车辆转变成横向道路的直行车辆,使得绿灯放行道路的所有车道都能持续放行,消除了道路在路口的车流瓶颈,同时提高了直行车流的绿灯时长占比,大幅提升路口通行能力,有利于缓解城市道路高峰拥挤给城市运行和经济发展带来的困惑。
