The invention relates to the technical field of concrete preparation, and discloses a process for preparing concrete. The process comprises the steps of 1, metering raw materials such as cement, mixing water, sand, stone, an additive and an admixture, carrying out subsequent processing after the raw materials are metered to be qualified, if the metering of the raw materials is not qualified, supplementing or weighing, and then metering again until the raw materials are qualified; 2, pouring all sand, stones and 70% of mixing water into a stirrer, and stirring to wet the aggregate to obtain a mixture I; 3, diluting the additive with water to obtain a mixture II; 4, pouring all cement and the mixture II into the mixture I, and stirring to obtain a mixture III; and step 5, pouring the remaining 30% of the mixing water into the mixture III for stirring to obtain a finished product. According to the process for preparing the concrete, the concrete prepared by adopting the process is relatively high in hardness, excellent in slump loss resistance and very good in using effect.
