According to thebridge detection and maintenance device and the using method thereof, a bidirectional motor drives rolling wheels to rotate, an L-shaped plate is promoted to be matched with a channel to drive a detection machine body on the side face of an insertion plate to move front and back, and the bottom face of the bridge body can be conveniently and rapidly detected; a hydraulic cylinder drives the insertion plate to move rightwards, the position, detected by a detection mechanism, of a bridge body is adjusted, and the bridge body detection efficiency and effect are ensured; a clamping block is fixedto the side face of the bridge body, then an abutting bolt is matched with the clamping block to fix a sliding rail, then a bidirectional motor drives the detection mechanism to move on the sliding rail for detection, and a user can conveniently move to a C-shaped plate through the channel to maintain the bridge body.
