The invention discloses a method for adjusting the height of a sliding door and window. Aluminum alloy profiles, glass, hardware, a handle and a hydraulic ejector rod with a positioning structure areneeded. The method comprises the following steps that step 1, materials are prepared, specifically, the aluminum alloy profiles are cut according to the needed size and welded, the glass is installedon the aluminum alloy profiles, and a complete window is formed; and step 2, the window in the step 1 is installed on a window frame, the window frame is punched, the window and a bed frame are connected together through hinges, and the window is a sliding window, so that the top of the window needs to be connected with the window frame. The aluminum alloy door and window is light in overall weight and convenient to install, the hydraulic ejector rod with the positioning structure is adopted, the angle of the window can be kept, and strong wind can be resisted.
