The invention relates to the field of bridges, in particular to a bridge height limiting device with high safety performance, a connecting seat is arranged at the right end of a height limiting plate,a connecting groove is formed in the front side of the connecting seat, a connecting column matched with the connecting groove is arranged at the rear end of a second supporting seat, and a limitingcavity is formed in the left side in the connecting groove; a limiting sliding rod is arranged in the limiting cavity, a limiting plate is arranged at the right end of the limiting sliding rod, a limiting block is arranged on the right side of the limiting plate, a limiting groove matched with the limiting block is formed in the left side of the connecting column, and a spring arranged on the outer side of the limiting sliding rod in a sleeving mode is arranged between the left side of the limiting plate and the limiting cavity; and the left end of the limiting sliding rod extends out of the connecting base, the left end of the limiting sliding rod is rotationally connected with a driving rod through a first rotating base, and the left end of the driving rod is rotationally connected withthe buffer plate through a second rotating base. Due to the arrangement of the structure, shaking cannot be generated during strong wind or return, subsequent use is facilitated, the use safety is improved, and the practicability is high.
