The invention discloses a method for preparing a silicate cement siliceous correction raw material from iron tailings, which comprises the following steps: S1, feeding the iron tailings into a hydrocyclone, and grading to obtain coarse-grained tailings and fine-grained tailings; wherein the granularity of the fine-grained tailings is 0-X, X=0.0030-0.0038 mm, and the rest is the coarse-grained tailings; S2, performing three-stage wet magnetic separation operation on the coarse-grained tailings, and sequentially enhancing the three-stage magnetic separation intensity to obtain magnetic tailingsand non-magnetic tailings; S3, subjecting the non-magnetic tailings to flotation operation, and obtaining quartz tailings and quartz fine sand meeting the requirement, wherein the SiO2 content of thequartz fine sand is 82.54%-89.62%; according to the method, SiO2 in the iron tailings can be effectively recycled, and the quartz fine sand meeting the requirements of silicate cement siliceous correction raw materials is obtained.
