The invention discloses a sunken greenbelt structure with nitrogen and phosphorus removal functions. The sunken greenbelt structure comprises a sunken greenbelt and an overflow rainwater well, and theoverflow rainwater well is arranged in the sunken greenbelt; the sunken greenbelt comprises a plant layer, an improved planting soil layer, a first permeable geotextile, a nitrogen and phosphorus removal type filler layer, a second permeable geotextile, a supporting layer, an impermeable membrane and an original soil layer which are sequentially arranged from top to bottom; and perforated seepagepipes are arranged in the supporting layer and converge in the overflow type rainwater well, and the overflow type rainwater well communicates with a rainwater pipe. The sunken greenbelt structure with the nitrogen and phosphorus removal functions is simple in structure, has the advantages of low construction and operation cost compared with a traditional sunken greenbelt, effectively controls initial rainwater runoff non-point source pollution, and particularly has better nitrogen and phosphorus removal effects.
