The invention provides a raw material composition for anorthite light refractory bricks. The raw material composition comprises silicon-containing aluminum minerals, gypsum powder, clay, saw dust and/or wood powder and a composite additional binding agent. The invention further provides the anorthite light refractory brick and application thereof. A wet anorthite brick blank obtained after the rawmaterial composition is poured can be quickly cured, wet stacking can be directly carried out after demolding, drying is not needed, and the strength of the demolded wet blank can meet the technological requirement for stacking three or more layers of wet anorthite bricks.
