The invention relates to the technical field of house building engineering, in particular to a waterproof construction method for a convex skylight of a steel structure roof. The method is simple and fast to assemble on site, attractive and elegant after being installed, good in waterproof effect, long in service life and capable of reducing leakage and aging conditions and saving later-period maintenance cost. The method includes the steps of S1, construction preparation; S2, construction positioning; S3, opening cutting; S4, supporting channel steel installation; S5, color steel plate sewing; S6, inner diversion trench mounting: reinforcing four corners of an inner diversion trench by adopting corner plates and durable structural adhesives, and fixedly mounting the inner diversion trench at an opening of the skylight; S7, skylight frame mounting; S8, rhombic flow guide plate installation; S9, wave crest rubber plug installation; S10, bottom side drain hole forming; and S11, water return prevention rain cover arrangement.
