The invention discloses a bidirectional-jacking pipe jacking construction system and a construction process, and belongs to the technical related field of constructional engineering and municipal engineering. The construction system comprises a pipe jacking starting vertical shaft, two jacks, jacking iron and guide rails; the pipe jacking starting vertical shaft is of a structure shaped like a Chinese character 'ri' and comprises an inner wall and an outer wall; a two-way through-wall hole is reserved in the opposite side of the outer wall of the pipe jacking starting vertical shaft and used for jacking a jacking pipe; the two jacks are placed on two sides of the inner wall of the pipe jacking starting vertical shaft correspondingly; the jacking iron is placed on two sides of the interior of the pipe jacking starting vertical shaft correspondingly; the guide rails are placed on two sides of the interior of the pipe jacking starting vertical shaft correspondingly and used for directional movement of jacking pipe segments and the jacking iron; and the through-wall hole, the jacks, the jacking iron and the guide rails are maintained on the same center line. According to the bidirectional-jacking pipe jacking construction system, bidirectional pipe jacking construction can be conducted at the same time/or in a partitioned and time-phased mode, the working efficiency is improved, and the influence of construction on traffic is effectively reduced.
