The invention relates to the technical field of smelting, in particular to a steel slag treatment process method. The steel slag treatment process method comprises the following process steps that a tilting slag basin of a steel slag tilting device pours slag on a crushing bed; a steel slag rolling vehicle moves along the crushing bed to crush the steel slag, and cooling water is sprayed into the slag in the rolling process; the rolled and sprayed steel slag is conveyed into a braising tank to be braised; multi-stage iron removal, crushing and screening treatment are carried out on the braised slag; the slag steel subjected to multi-stage iron removal and crushing and screening treatment is returned to steelmaking for recycling; after excess materials subjected to multi-stage iron removal, crushing and screening treatment are crushed by a rod mill, multi-stage magnetic separation crushing treatment is performed; and qualified magnetic separation powder obtained after multi-stage magnetic separation crushing treatment is recycled, and other qualified tailings are sent to tailing ore to be sold out to be used as steel slag cement. The process method is efficient, environment-friendly and high in stability.
