The invention discloses a vehicle centering system for clamping and carrying type parking equipment. The vehicle centering system comprises a control computer, an image processor, a camera, a moving platform, a bottom frame, a transverse moving vehicle, a transverse moving vehicle guide rail, a clamping carrier and a transverse moving guide rail, wherein the bottom frame comprises a fixing frame, and a parking platform guide rail is fixed to the fixing frame; and the moving platform is arranged between the fixing frame and the parking platform guide rail and comprises a rear wheel moving platform and a front wheel moving platform which are independent of each other, and the rear wheel moving platform and the front wheel moving platform are each provided with a driving wheel set. Through computer comparison and calculation, the front wheel moving platform and the rear wheel moving platform are controlled to move, vehicle centering is achieved, and vehicle carrying is achieved through the carrier and the transverse moving vehicle. The vehicle centering system is suitable for parking vehicle centering, a hall vehicle table top is flat, and a user can use the vehicle centering system more safely; and tires do not need to be extruded, and mechanical extrusion damage of the equipment to the vehicle tires in the parking process is eliminated.
