The invention discloses a preparation method of an aluminum nitride-based functional ceramic material, which comprises the following steps: S1, mixing aluminum nitride powder, metal powder, a sintering aid, a dispersing agent, a binder, a plasticizer and an organic solvent through ball mill equipment to obtain slurry; performing vacuum defoaming treatment on the slurry to obtain a first mixture; S2, performing post-treatment on the first mixture to obtain a biscuit; S3, placing the biscuit in a rubber discharging furnace for rubber discharging treatment; and S4, putting the ceramic biscuit subjected to glue removal into a high-temperature furnace, and carrying out high-temperature firing. The prepared aluminum nitride-based functional ceramic material has various electrical characteristics, is wide in application field, and overcomes and eliminates the defects and disadvantages of a traditional metal heating resistor; materials have different volume resistivity and resistance values; and the aluminum nitride-based functional ceramic material is subjected to graphical design, the designed resistance value and the corresponding target power are achieved through design, the target temperature rise rate is achieved, and heat distribution is uniform.
