The construction method comprises the following steps: step 1, performing foundation construction; step 2, performing vertical wall construction; specifically, pouring an arch frame of a sound barrier in a segmented mode, and pouring the vertical walls on the two sides firstly; step 3, performing main and secondary beam construction: mounting main and secondary beam steel bars, erecting a formwork, performing pouring to form main and secondary beams, and connecting and fixing the main beam and the vertical wall; connecting a prestressed inhaul cable to the lower chord position of the main beam, and tensioning the prestressed inhaul cable; step 4, installing prefabricated plates; specifically, installing the prefabricated plates on the outer sides of the main beam and the secondary beam to form a closed structure; and step 5, constructing a waterproof heat preservation layer; specifically, sequentially constructing a leveling layer, a waterproof layer, a heat preservation layer, alkali-resisting gridding cloth and an anti-crack mortar layer on the outer surface of each prefabricated plate. The construction method has the advantages that the sound insulation effect is good, large-span, ultra-long and ultra-high sound barrier structure construction is met, the foundation area is reduced, and the construction cost is reduced.
