The invention relates to the technical field of chemical tower equipment aerial operation platforms, and particularly relates to a tower section temporary operation platform and a construction method. The tower section temporary operation platform comprises a mounting ring plate, cantilever beams and fences, wherein the mounting ring plate can sleeve and tightly hoop a tower section to serve as a rooting part of the temporary operation platform; a plurality of cantilever beams are provided, and are arranged in the peripheral direction of the tower section at intervals; one ends of the plurality of cantilever beams are detachably connected to the mounting ring plate, and the other ends of the plurality of cantilever beams extend in the radial direction of the tower section; and steel springboards can be paved on the cantilever beams for constructors to stand on the temporary operation platform. The fences are arranged between any two adjacent cantilever beams, and are detachably connected with the tail ends, far from the tower section, of two adjacent cantilever beams. All parts of the temporary operation platform are detachably connected, so that operators can quickly finish installation and disassembly of all parts to improve the construction efficiency.
