The invention relates to the technical field of highway construction, in particular to a foam light soil widening height highway embankment construction method which comprises the following steps: firstly, excavating a foundation and a slope of an old road; excavating a foundation pit along the pouring side boundary, and pouring panel foundation concrete into the foundation pit; then installing a panel on the panel foundation concrete, and transversely installing a plurality of partition plates along the road; then pouring a foam light soil roadbed in a pouring cavity defined by the panels, the side slopes of the old road and the two adjacent partition plates; then laying a top layer ground galvanized metal net, and pouring top layer foam light soil; and finally, performing foam light soil maintenance. A pouring cavity is defined by the face plate, the side slope of the old road and the two adjacent partition plates, and a foam light soil roadbed is poured in the pouring cavity. The roadbed is vertically and upwards overlapped for construction, a side slope is not formed on the edge of the roadbed, and excessive land resources are not occupied. Pouring does not need vibration, self-leveling is achieved, efficiency is high, large equipment is not needed, and the requirement for the site is low.
