The invention relates to an asphalt mixture modified by a waste basalt fiber reinforced composite material. The asphalt mixture is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 4-6 parts of asphalt, 0.2-0.4 part of the waste basalt fiber reinforced composite material and 93-95 parts of mineral aggregate, the mineral aggregate is composed of gravel with the particle size ranging from 19 mm to 26.5 mm, gravel with the particle size ranging from 9.5 mm to 19 mm, gravel with the particle size ranging from 4.75 mm to 9.5 mm, gravel with the particle size ranging from 2.36 mm to 4.75 mm, machine-made sand and mineral powder. According to the invention, the waste basalt fiber reinforced composite material is recycled, and the resin on the surface of the basalt fiber reinforced composite material and the asphalt have good compatibility and reinforcing and toughening effects are achieved between the fiber and the asphalt, so the anti-rutting performance, low-temperature crack resistance and other pavement performances of the asphalt mixture are greatly improved.
