The invention relates to a capillary crystalline waterproof agent which comprises the following components in parts by weight: 35-65 parts of Portland cement, 12-18 parts of calcium hydroxide, 2-3 parts of nano silicon dioxide, 8-12 parts of an organic silicon additive, 1.1-1.8 parts of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, 0.8-1.3 parts of a polycarboxylate superplasticizer and the balance of quartz sand. The invention also provides a preparation method of the waterproof agent. Via the waterproof agent, the anti-permeability and waterproof performance, the bonding performance and the flexural and compressive strength of concrete can be improved, the anti-permeability and waterproof effect of the concrete can be further improved by coating the concrete surface with the anti-permeability and waterproof coating, and then the anti-permeability and durability of the concrete are improved.
