The invention provides a method for synthesizing a polycarboxylic acid high-performance water reducing agent by mixing C4-6 macromonomers, which comprises the following steps: 1) preparing basic raw materials: adding macromonomers, water, a reducing agent and peroxide into a reaction container I, and stirring; 2) preparing a material A: adding a six-carbon macromonomer and water into a reaction container II, then adding a small monomer, and uniformly stirring; (3) preparing a material B: adding a chain transfer agent, a reducing agent and water into a reaction container III, and uniformly stirring; 4) polymerization reaction: controlling the temperature in the reaction container I within the range of 8-30 DEG C, dropwise adding the material A and the material B into the reaction container I for 140-160 minutes, dropwise adding the material B for 180-190 minutes, and controlling the reaction temperature within the range of 22-58 DEG C; after the material B is dropwise added, keeping the temperature for 60-70 minutes, adding alkali liquor, and stirring for 10-15 minutes to obtain the concrete high-performance water reducing agent.
